Chef Profile: Anthony Le Pape

Executive Chef Anthony le Pape was born in Brittany, France. He began his culinary journey at the management school in Chaptal in Quimper and went on to hone his skills working in several award-winning restaurants, including the Michelin Star hotel, the Chateau d’Esclimont, on the outskirts of Paris.
Keen to explore the culinary world beyond France, Chef Anthony joined the Disney Cruise Line in 1998 as a Sous Chef. He then went on to open the Paris Las Vegas Resort & Casino, before exploring South America, working for Chef Francois Payard’s new restaurant in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
In 2005 he was invited by Chef Eric Ripert to be part of the culinary team working at the newly opened Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. Having chosen to call Cayman home, he now heads up the culinary team at the Marriott Beach Resort.
